Alamance County Beekeepers is a local chapter of the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association. We are a local group of beekeepers who share an interest in staying informed about honey bee colony management, their maintenance and care, as well as honey production in Alamance County.
We meet once a month to share ideas, knowledge and to stay informed about local bee care and maintenance. The meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month (except December) in the auditorium at the Alamance County Center, 209 N. Graham-Hopedale Road Burlington, NC. We are also actively involved in educating the public about the wonderful world of the honey bee. We go to public events, schools, etc to demonstrate and promote awareness about the importance of honey bee pollination to our economy and their benefits to our ecology.
